"Yad Ezer Lahaver" has been giving for the community for over 3 decades!
"Yad Ezer Lahaber" was founded in 1995 in Haifa. In 2001 it became an non profit organization registered in the Register of Associations. The background for its establishment was the economic situation and the difficult social situation of Holocaust survivors in Israel.
Today, "Yad Ezer Lahaver" is spread over 3 streets in Haifa, where a large number of Holocaust survivors, who previously lived below the poverty line, live, receive nice housing, three meals a day, treatments at a physical therapy institute and many varied social activities every day in a magnificent social club.
In addition, the association distributes hundreds of hot meals to Holocaust survivors every day. The association also operates the "Children's Home" for children and youth at risk, and also helps the elderly, disadvantaged families and more.
The association is not budgeted by the state or the authorities and all its activities are financed by private donations only and good people in the middle of the road. The association has proper management from the register of associations and section 46 for tax purposes.
